History
The story of
Westchase
Westchase was developed beginning in 1991 on former cattle ranch land in northwest Hillsborough County. The master plan was designed to create a self-contained community with its own town center, golf course, parks, and trail system. Unlike typical Florida subdivisions, Westchase was planned with connectivity in mind — sidewalks, bike paths, and greenways link every neighborhood to the town center and recreation areas. The community built out over two decades and is now home to over 10,000 households. Its combination of amenities, schools, and location between Tampa and the beaches has made it one of the region's most consistently in-demand addresses.
